The CW80 is the entry level all solid guitar from Maton. This is one of Maton's oldest models, a model that has been constantly developed since it was first introduced. This guitar has a full rich tone that will of course improve the more it is played, yet it appears perfect from the first picked notes or strummed chords. These guitars sing and have a vibrancy not seen in other makes in this price range. The guitar is not merely a wooden object, but instead is living and breathing, producing amazing tone. These guitars are also unbelievably easy to play and like a good book are hard to put down. You will not be disappointed by this guitar, it is a superb buy that gives you immense quality for a great price. As with all other Maton guitars this is handmade.
I've had the pleasure of owning a Maton ECW80C since june 1998 and its getting more and more beautiful by the day. I used to live near the Maton factory just out of melbourne and had the opportunity to set it up to my specifications. I love it!
