All solid handmade guitar
The CW80 is the entry level all solid guitar from Maton. This is one of Maton's oldest models, a model that has been constantly developed since it was first introduced. This guitar has a full rich tone that will of course improve the more it is played, yet it appears perfect from the first picked notes or strummed chords. These guitars sing and have a vibrancy not seen in other makes in this price range. The guitar is not merely a wooden object, but instead is living and breathing, producing amazing tone. These guitars are also unbelievably easy to play and like a good book are hard to put down. You will not be disappointed by this guitar, it is a superb buy that gives you immense quality for a great price. As with all other Maton guitars this is handmade.

The ultimate in a small bodied acoustic guitar, the EBG808 Artist is a great choice for any guitarist. The Artist has superb tone and projection from a small body that is comfortable and easy to play. The Artist model uses the best materials available. The top is a great example of the best quality spruce, and often has bear claw markings showing the quality of timber. The back and sides are solid Blackwood, which boasts a bright and 'zingy' tone which really works for fingerstyle, especially in altered tunings. Maton's APMic system is widely regarded as one of the best available combining a pressure mounted undersaddle pick up with a soundhole mounted microphone - unbeatable for live use. Well worth the money.

These guitars are hand made in Australia using refined techniques to produce the most superb guitars that have astounding tone. This guitar is built to Tommy's exact specifications and is the model he uses most often when on stage. The smaller body size means that this guitar is extremely easy to play, yet the smaller size does not affect the tone of the guitar. These guitars have great power and punch and the tonal capabilities of larger body sizes. It has a full sound with a good bass and great projection. This model features the Maton APMic pickup system renowned for its tone. This combines piezo crystals under the bridge with a microphone inside the body, providing a natural and powerful sound. This guitar is so easy to play and is extremely comfortable. This is truly an amazing guitar and well worth the money. It is great acoustically as well as plugged in and the tone is sublime.

The Performer is proving to be a popular choice with our customers, particularly for live performance. Its body is slightly shallower than the rest of the 808 series meaning feedback is less of an issue. The Bunya top is visually striking and similar in tonal properties to spruce. Although, fairly understated in appearance, the Performer is an elegant and stylish instrument. Please note that the Bunya tops may vary quite widely in appearance from guitar to guitar.
