Thinkmusic.co.uk is proud to be endorsed by the following musicians:

Jamie Humphries – Jamie is one of the country’s top players. He has his own show on the M-Channel as well as being the author of several guitar books (Giants of Metal, Total Accuracy etc..) His regular column in ‘Guitar Techniques’ is read by thousands of players and he even finds time to fit in four or five gigs a week, seminars and is currently recording his album. www.jamiehumphries.com

Guthrie Govan – Guthrie was voted ‘Guitarist of the Year’ in 1993 and since then has been enjoying much success with legendary prog. rockers ‘Asia’. He’s also formed his own band ‘Erotic Cakes’ (named after a quote from his favourite TV star…Homer Simpson!). When he’s not touring the world you can find him teaching at the Academy of Contemporary Music and writing for ‘Guitar Techniques’ magazine.

Dave Kilminster – Dave K is another ‘Guitarist of the Year’ winner, back in 1991. Shortly after this he was asked to teach at the Guitar Institute in London. He’s worked with some big names in his time and is a successful musician in his own right. ‘Guitarist’ and ‘Guitar Techniques’ magazines enjoy his regular contributions. www.davekilminster.com

Matt Smith – Matt is the master of finger pickin’ and slide guitar. He’s the demo musician for Ovation. A recording artist with numerous releases under his belt, the New Yorker is also a columnist for ‘Guitar Player’ magazine in the USA...and it doesn’t just stop with guitars. Matt is an accomplished player of the ukulele, tenor guitar, mandolin and banjo.

Stevie Salas – Stevie is one of the world’s best players. He has played with the likes of George Clinton, Rod Stewart, Ritchie Kotzen and Mick Jagger, to name a few. Find out more about this living legend at his web site. www.steviesalas.com

Richie Kotzen – Richie had made such a name for himself, that by the young age of 20 he was approached to join the multi-platinum selling rock band, Poison. By the age of 21, he was a platinum selling artist himself. Whilst playing world tours and recording solo albums, he still found time to play with the likes of Stanley Clarke, Karen Briggs and Rachel Z, in a project called ‘Vertú’. He then replaced Paul Gilbert as the Mr. Big guitarist. In total he has performed on too many albums for me to count and he’s made time to run a studio in L.A. and toured constantly. He’s just released his latest album, ‘Acoustic Cuts’. www.richiekotzen.com

Ben Bartlett – Ben (Guitarist & What Guitar magazines) is one of the most respected reviewers of guitar related products in the world. After he graduated from the Guitar Institute, he managed Andy’s Guitars in Denmark Street. He now lives in Bath, where you can see him live at many of the local venues as well as venues across the globe.

Heitham Al-Sayed, - Heitham shot to fame in the early 90’s, fronting the rock/rap group ‘Senser’. After they split, whilst on a US tour with Moby, he was involved in numerous projects with friends and people he’d met through Senser. He has worked with Ace (Skunk Anansie), Mike Smith (Limp Bizkit) and many other great musicians. Senser have just reformed and will be releasing the new album early in 2004. The Entronauts (his other band) share management with ‘The Darkness’, so we’ll be expecting to hear a lot more from them soon.

Rob Balducci, - Rob is one of Steve Vai's favourite players. His speed and accuracy is surpassed, only, by his ability to write memorable melodies...which is a rare talent for a 'widdler'.

Subhead, - aka Jason Leach and Phil Wells. The most inventive production team in the electronic music world, who have been performing accross the globe for the last 10 years to hundreds of thousands of fans. Both Jason and Phil buy their equipment through us and Jason is the producer of the House of Fix (our own Tom Bartlett's band) Phil now resides in Japan while Jason is in sunny Scarborough constantly pleasing their huge fan base with more and more of the good stuff.

Michael Angelo Batio - To see this half man/half god play will leave you with a grin that can't be removed easily. Michael is, without a doubt, the fastest and most accurate player in the guitar world. He pioneered the technique of playing two guitars at the same time and, last year, was voted the No.1 guitar shredder of all time. To see him in action visit www.angelo.com

James Rae - James is one of Europes top published writers of educational wind music. As a freelance clarinettist and saxophonist he has worked in every musical situation possible, from West End musicals to playing in top orchestras. He's also the current professor of saxophone for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
